TH Trucks returns to Dakar Rally with Polaris RZR

The TH-Trucks Rally Team will take on the 47th edition of the Dakar Rally with a three-crew team at the helm of the Polaris RZR Pro R in the T4 category, which will take place in Saudi Arabia from 3rd to 17th January 2025.

Specialists in competition and assistance trucks with more than 25 years of experience in the field, TH-Trucks Rally Team has built three Polaris RZR Pro R side-by-side vehicles for the Dakar Rally’s T4 category, with the goal to cross the finish line with all three teams.

“We’re delighted to be returning to Saudi Arabia next year,” said Susana Hernando, Technical Director of TH-Trucks. “It’s always a great honour to be able to participate in the Dakar Rally; a race I have always held in the highest regard, and we are ready to take on the challenge again with Polaris RZR. The SSVs are hugely capable, and the Pro R in particular is the perfect balance of high performance and reliability, ideal for our pilots.

“The goal for the 2025 race is to have all three of our crews cross the finish line,” continued Hernando. “Getting the Dakar Finishers medal is certainly no mean feat. Whatever the outcome, we can be sure that the next Dakar will be an exciting journey.”

This year, TH Trucks has supported racing teams in the Spanish CERTT (Campeonato España Rallyes TodoTerreno), extensively testing and developing the RZR Pro R alongside the championship for continual improvement ahead of Dakar. The team triumphantly won in T4 category with the Pro R ridden by pilot Fede Mogni and co-pilot David Aguado.
